Description

Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU), acting on behalf of Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS England North Midlands, is seeking a suitably qualified provider to deliver high quality and safe Primary Care Medical Services at Parkfields Surgery, Derby, under an Alternative Provider of Medical Services (APMS) contract.

The contract will commence on 1st October 2018 and be for a maximum period of ten years (initial term five years plus option to extend for a further five years).

The Practice has a list size (at 1st October 2017) of approximately 6,243 (raw list size 6,108). The contract value will be in the region of £5.3M, excluding QOF and Enhanced Services payments, over ten years.

The procurement process will be run in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, as a one-stage process under the Light Touch Regime. The most economically advantageous tender derived using the criteria stated in the tender documentation will be successful.
