Description

Portsmouth City Council, D-Day Museum 'the Council' is seeking to appoint an activity plan consultant to carry out the research and development necessary to produce a detailed activity plan for a second round application to the HLF (Heritage Lottery Fund) heritage grants programme for LCT 7074: Resurrecting a D-Day Hero.

LCT 7074 is the last Second World War Landing Craft (Tank) in the UK, and one of the last in the world. She is of importance to D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, the Royal Navy, the British Army and British ship building.

The successful consultant will be required to plan and undertake an extensive public consultation programme and produce a detailed activity plan ensuring that the LCT 7074 project effectively engages people and broadens the audience base.

The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 30th November 2017.

There is a total budget of up to £20,000 for this work which will be conducted over a period of 3 months ending in March 2018. The budget includes travel, administration and other related expenses, and is exclusive of VAT.
