Description

Corserv on behalf of Cornwall Housing is seeking a competent and experienced contractor to carry out retaining wall works.

A unilog retaining wall sloped ground has partially failed to the rear of numbers 1-4 Carharthen View, Tresillian, Truro, Cornwall TR2 4FH. The failed section is not an engineered retaining unilog wall and appears to be a faced earth bank, which then slopes steeply downwards to the pathway around the house below. Initial works have been carried out to cut back the vegetation at the top of the wall. It is proposed that a new block retaining retaining wall is constructed in front of the existing slopes.

The intention is to award the contract to the most economically advantageous tender based on 60% Price and 40% Quality. Tenderers must visit the properties to familiarise themselves with the layout by prior appointment with the client. Failure to do so will invalidate and disqualify any quotes received.
