Description

To deliver a 1-2-1 Maths & English (EL1 - EL3) programme, which will support participants to develop their confidence and a positive approach to these essential skills. Further, to support the progression of participants into education, employment or training. Eligible participants will be aged 16 - 29 and not engaged in education, employment or training.

o Service providers will be required to deliver accredited qualifications in English & Maths from Entry Level 1 through to Entry Level 3.
o Delivery must be conducted on a 121 basis with tutor supervision/engagement as required by the participant(s) during each lesson.
o Service providers must be registered with a relevant Awarding Body
o Tutors must be qualified to deliver the specified subjects, evidence of relevant qualification must be provided.
o Courses will run to a set timetable, for example 10am - 4pm, between 1 - 3 days per week for up to 16 weeks.
o Consideration must be given to individual needs, disability, learning difficulties and styles
o Service Provider must be experienced in working with vulnerable 16 - 29-year old's, skilled at dealing with challenging behaviors and knowledgeable of the issues that may affect individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
o Service Provider must be knowledgeable in the safeguarding of children and young adults.
o Service Provider must produce relevant teaching qualification documents for all tutors prior to them delivering sessions.
