Description

The University require to procure and install a state-of-the-art internally heated pressure vessel (IHPV) for synthesising and testing geological materials under crustal pressures and magmatic temperatures. The IHPV will complement other experimental equipment in Manchester and provide a nationally unique capability for the wider NERC community. The IHPV should be fully operational by 3rd March 2024.
