Description
First for Wellbeing is inviting Indicative Tender submissions for Stop Smoking level 2 Support Service and Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). All organisations wishing to deliver NRT and/ or Level 2 Stop Smoking Support from October 1st 2016 onwards, will need to apply to join the DPS. This includes Providers that have an existing contract. We welcome applications to join the DPS from all our existing Providers but would encourage larger multiple site organisations to apply to join the DPS as a single Provider. Multiple site organisations will need to list the sites that wish to join the DPS and confirm that staff at each site have the relevant qualifications and training.
The Provider(s) shall offer one or both of the following services and use the First for Wellbeing Stop smoking data system to record activity and claim payment.
Service 1: Level 2 Associate stop smoking support: Individual behavioural counselling or group therapy
Service 2: Pharmacotherapy: Provision of Nicotine Replacement Therapy
Service 3: A combination of the above
Applicants will need to provide full responses to the questions, including details of professional registration, and (for Level 2 support only) confirmation of appropriate stop smoking support training and availability of a private space for consultation.
These services are being procured under a multiple-provider Dynamic Purchasing System. There will be no limit to the number of Providers accepted onto the Dynamic Purchasing System, providing they meet the selection and award criteria (as set out in the Tender documentation). This DPS Agreement is for four years, commencing 1st October 2016. First for Wellbeing will use the tender process of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to enable Providers to join the DPS at anytime. The DPS will be available until 30th September 2020, and TUPE does not apply.
The detailed requirements are defined in the Tender documents. Please visit the LGSS Procurement Portal - www.lgssprocurementportal.co.uk to formally register your interest in this opportunity and to access the tender documentation.
The deadline for completed Indicative Tenders to be received on the LGSS eTendering Portal is 12:00 noon, every quarter - PLEASE SEE THE TENDER DOCUMENTATION FOR FULL INFORMATION ON CURRENT ROUNDS AND DEADLINES. Indicative Tenders can be submitted throughout the duration of the DPS.
