Description

UoC wishes to appoint a company to provide a professional, pro-active and comprehensive occupational health service to manage and improve the health and wellbeing of it's staff and students.
The Occupational Health service provisions required for the UoC are divided into core and non-core services. There is an opportunity to provide additional services that are aligned to the provision of these services and respondees should outline any additional services, innovative solutions, that they may be able to offer in their response.

UoC is interested in exploring a fixed annual price contract and respondees should indicate options in this regard.

The primary OH service is to be provided for a total of approximately 1000 employees based on locations of UoC as shown in Appendix F. Appendix H provides a broad overview of the health risk activities experienced throughout.

The secondary OH service includes the provision of health services for those students undertaking teacher, outdoor education or nurse and other medical/health related training including:

o Pre-study screening
o Pre-placement screening
o Fitness to practice
o Vaccinations

Issues relating to staff are currently managed by Human Resources and issues relating to students are currently managed by Student and Academic Administration

Further information can be found in appendices C-I.
