Description
This contract is a two part contract which could, in theory, be run side by side. The main contract is relating to the Council Chamber (see notes below).
The other part of the contract is re-enforcement work to support the rigging system in the Festival Hall.
The Council Chamber is in need of expanding and refurbishment so that there is more space to hold larger meetings, and to ensure that it is able to be utilized in a safe way should there ever be another pandemic.
The current opportunity is to knock three offices (including the current Council Chamber) into one and provide a quality finish in wood paneling as shown in the plans.
Trunking and cabling for future AV requirements will need to be included behind the paneling. AV equipment will be considered at a later date. AV locations are included in the plans attached.
