Medway Council's Greenspace Development Team are inviting quotations for establishment works for the England Coast Path from Otterham Quay, Rainham to Grain Foreshore.
To remove and dispose of existing furniture e.g. stiles and field gates and replace with modified kissing gates, gaps, way mark posts, sign posts, signage and stock proof fencing repairs to replaced furniture.
Locations of the works are 50% in remote areas and require off road vehicle access. Keys to access vehicle gates will be provided. Some locations may require carrying of equipment over moderate distances. The remaining locations are in urban areas.
Contract is anticipated to commence on Monday July 5, 2021 and will continue for a period of four weeks with an option to extend for a further period of one week depending on weather and access or unless terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.
Project start date may be dependent on Covid 19 government advice
