Description
The NHS England NHS Improvement National Commercial and Procurement Hub are undertaking on behalf of NHSX a market engagement exercise in the form of a survey. Interested suppliers should note that this is to inform the national strategy to set in place a new framework for general practice or to explore utilisation/evolution of existing frameworks for general practice utilisation.
Interested suppliers should take specific note of the proposed new standards to be set. We are keen to understand the maturity of the market to these new proposed standards. The product of your feedback will be central to the development of the strategy.
Interested suppliers should note that this exercise is a market engagement exercise only. Any future competitions or opportunities will not be directly linked to this notice. Interested suppliers should be clear that feedback to this survey is a fundamental step towards the creation of the national strategy to deliver an enhanced service to general practice.
Timing is critical to support the development of the strategy to deliver for general practice in the shortest possible timeframe. A 2-week window is presented for interested suppliers to enter their views and comments. The deadline for response to this questionnaire is 5pm on Friday 7th January 2022. Following that a report will be produced in the following fortnight to close this stage and commence the development of the national strategy.
A capability assessment has been developed to identify current market capabilities. Should you wish to participate in this exercise please contact commercial.procurementhub@nhs.net where a link to the questionnaire will then be shared.
Should you wish to talk to us in regard to this notice please contact the Hub through the below email link or directly to Garry Mitchell, Deputy Director of Procurement on garry.mitchell@nhs.net 07786 275 627
