Description

The Authority is seeking to appoint a development partner to design and build out a predominantly residential development on 3 specific sites in New Ferry Town centre. The Authority are now seeking to appoint a preferred developer(s) who can bring their skills, experience, and expertise in delivering this exciting opportunity and become a key partner in regenerating New Ferry.

This is a key regeneration development project in Wirral. The opportunity will enable development sites the Authority own as a first phase of development. However, the Authority is pursuing further land and property interests, which are to be acquired by the Authority (this includes the use of Compulsory Purchase Order powers where necessary) which will enable further phase of development.

The preferred developer will be required to enter into a development lease of the sites upon practical completion with the freehold following on plot transfer to the ultimate buyers. The preferred developer will need to carry out the redevelopment in accordance with the design principles and requirements set out in the ITPD documents which will be issued to providers successful at SQ stage.
