Description
Bristol City Council's Energy Service is engaging the market in order to tender for the first of a number of District Heat pipe installation works across the city.
For the first of the series of procurement exercises, the works comprise of installing approximately 260 linear meters of 200DN flow and return Heat Network pipe from Broughton House residential block on Somerset Street (BS1) to the junction with Redcliffe Way on Redcliffe Mead Lane. These works will interface with the current Heat Network installation as part of the highway improvement works in the area. The works will require the digging of a trench down a predetermined route to a target depth, in order to install the pipe before full reinstatement.
BCC are holding a supplier's information event on Wednesday the 19th of July from 14:00 to 17:00 for perspective bidders, please raise a clarification message through ProContract to confirm attendance.
