Description

This project is to bring together existing published and grey literature on a selection of priority mCDR approaches, alongside exploration of regulatory links to the LC/LP and some brief work to look at terminologies to build a shared taxonomy for science and regulatory work. It will deliver advice on regulatory implications and links of the specified approaches to inform an LC/LP meeting later this Autumn, alongside a briefing for ministers. The evidence synthesis will be reported to enable an initial Defra position to be developed around the environmental risks of these technologies, setting us up for future follow-on work to continue to understand these risks (and opportunities).
