Description

Tender for the Provision of Repair Works to Oak House

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council wishes to invite interested organisations (Tenderers) to participate in a tendering exercise to establish a Contract Agreement for the Provision of Repair Works to Oak House. It is a Grade II listed timber frame building located in Oak Road, West Bromwich. B70 8HJ.

The required works are to provide emergency repairs to the Belvedere from cherry picker and possible rear scaffold. Secondly, replacement of rainwater goods to the whole building, addition of new internal gutter through roof space and improvements to lighting and access in roof space area. The third priority is the removal of epoxy resin paint from porch timbers and associated repairs to porch structure.

Work is estimated to commence in May 2017 for up to a 12 week period.

Estimated budget for this project is £80,000
