Description
Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) has a requirement for the provision of adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) to all staff involved in planned Use of Force (UOF) incidents.
Equipment includes: body armour, guards and protectors, fire retardant clothing, gloves, footwear, helmets, batons, shields, handcuffs, kit bags, method of entry equipment, fire extinguishers, PAVA spray and leg restraint belts.
