Description

Enabling Works to Birnbeck Island includes:
1. Provision of welfare facilities and access/egress to island for materials, plant and operatives by sea
2. Secure island hoarding
3. Asbestos clearance to accessible areas
4. Sea wall repairs
5. 1888 Boat House propping, removal of existing roof & installation of temporary roof

Experience of works on heritage buildings and sites and works within challenging coastal marine environments will be vital.

Escorted site visits are to be conducted on 7th and 8th May only during low tides at designated times only, expected to be around midday.
