Description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for a refurbishment and demolition works at Solly Street.

Scope of Requirement:

The project aims refurbish and remodel Suites 49 and 50 of no.3 Solly Street to provide a Clinical Assessment Room, Reception, Waiting Area and 3no. Consultation Rooms.

The works are to be delivered under a single contract and are briefly outlined below:

Demolitions:

 Demolition of redundant internal glazed screens
 Demolition of existing internal partitions to RDS 223
 Removal of existing floor finishes
 Removal of existing suspended ceilings
 Removal of redundant mechanical and electrical services

Refurbishment Works:

 Formation of 1no. Reception and Waiting area
 Formation of 1no. Assessment area, with vanity unit.
 Formation of 3no. Consultation rooms
 Installation of new internal partitions
 Improvement of the existing acoustic performance of retained partitions
 Installation of new floor finishes
 Installation of new suspended ceilings
 Redecoration of new and existing finishes
 Installation of new mechanical and electrical services
