Description
The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for a refurbishment and demolition works at Solly Street.
Scope of Requirement:
The project aims refurbish and remodel Suites 49 and 50 of no.3 Solly Street to provide a Clinical Assessment Room, Reception, Waiting Area and 3no. Consultation Rooms.
The works are to be delivered under a single contract and are briefly outlined below:
Demolitions:
Demolition of redundant internal glazed screens
Demolition of existing internal partitions to RDS 223
Removal of existing floor finishes
Removal of existing suspended ceilings
Removal of redundant mechanical and electrical services
Refurbishment Works:
Formation of 1no. Reception and Waiting area
Formation of 1no. Assessment area, with vanity unit.
Formation of 3no. Consultation rooms
Installation of new internal partitions
Improvement of the existing acoustic performance of retained partitions
Installation of new floor finishes
Installation of new suspended ceilings
Redecoration of new and existing finishes
Installation of new mechanical and electrical services
