Description

The PURE project is part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). The project's focus is to deliver support to vulnerable people with multiple and complex barriers to employment, to address these underlying issues and to help them into employment, education or training results including by overcoming their digital poverty. The project provides tailored and bespoke support for individuals using Intervention Workers who are employed by the PURE providers and partner.

The scope of this project is to identify a supplier that can deliver:

• Purchase of IT equipment (The equipment purchased will remain the asset of Birmingham City Council).
• Create and maintain an asset register.
• Distribute and collect IT equipment from locations across the city.
• Physically and digitally clean IT equipment.
• Maintain IT equipment.
• Manage software upgrades.
• Provide and manage digital security of IT assets.
• Provide IT support and IT equipment training to users.
• Provide reports on the usage of the IT assets.

The contract will be for a period of 24 months commencing on 1st December 2021.

The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
