Description

This document is a Request for Information ("RFI") to help the BBC understand what product(s) and services are available to assist the BBC with test case BBC development teams use a test case management platform to store test cases and track progress against test runs .

The current solution in place comprises of a cloud-based platform that is used for both manual and automated testing. It is used by across the BBC, ranging from small one-off projects running manual acceptance tests, to ongoing products running a suite of automated, scripted manual and exploratory tests. The tool is not currently used for creating automated tests or defect management, these are handled by third party applications.

BBC Product teams use this platform to help manage tests and ensure their planned software releases work as expected.

Given the pace of change in the market, we are taking this opportunity to explore the market via this RFI and look for suppliers that provide a test case management cloud-based platform management for testing of audience facing products.

For the avoidance of doubt, any information provided to the BBC in response to this RFI will be treated as confidential and non-binding. No contract will be awarded as a consequence of this RFI process; however, the BBC anticipates launching a procurement opportunity in the near future.

This will move the PQQ/ITT into your 'My PQQs/My ITTs page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only. 2.5 - You can now access any attachments by clicking 'Buyer Attachments' in the 'PQQ/ITT Details' box. 3. Responding to the tender: 3.1 - Click 'My Response' under PQQ/ITT Details', you can choose to 'Create Response' or to 'Decline to Respond' (please give a reason if declining). 3.2 - You can now use the 'Messages' function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification. 3.3 - Note the deadline for completion, and then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the PQQ/ITT. There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available). 3.4 You must then submit your reply using the 'Submit Response' button at the top of the page.
