Description

The Nottingham car club has been in operation since 2014. First launched with a City Centre focus it was retendered in 2019 and the contract will expire in May 2024.
The City Council is keen for a car club service to continue beyond this date and further expand the service by increasing the number of hire locations, and to offer a car club service operated by a mix of Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) , hybrid and Euro 6 vehicles.
This tender is seeking a Concessionaire to operate a car club in the city of Nottingham, expanding the Nottingham offer and with the potential to expand out to the surrounding areas. The concession will utilise the existing designated car cub bays across the city and grow the offer to increase the minimum number of vehicles on the fleet from 23 to a minimum of 48 over the duration of the concession. Subject to land being available to provide the dedicated car club bays, there is no upper limit on the number of vehicles to be included in the car club offer, and the Concessionaire shall work with the City Council to grow and develop the car club fleet throughout the concession period.
The requirements are defined in the Specification - Section 4 of this document.
