Description

SCC is seeking to enter a Measured Term Contract (MTC) with a Landscape contractor to enable a long-term partnership, which will be a stream-lined, cost-effective delivery mechanism for a significant number of Parks and Countryside Service green space improvement projects. The repetitive nature of a large proportion of parks projects means an MTC is an appropriate way to generate efficiencies in the delivery of the Parks Programme of work.

Project specific designs will be required for each order, but the MTC will create access to a contractor to deliver the following works:

• Drainage - sports field systems, land drainage systems, drainage in relation to new recreational facility installations
• Parks & Countryside access controls infrastructure: Fencing - knee rails, sports court fencing, vehicular access gates, park railings, access control infrastructure
• Landscaping - utilities, land forming (for recreation, drainage, access controls)
• Playgrounds - provision of new playgrounds or significantly re-modelled playgrounds
• Multi-use games areas
