Description

The BBC procures data feeds from the range of providers to provide real-time stats about many sports and sporting events. Different feeds can be used for different sports and events, depending on the supplier. The Requirement set out in this ITT is predominately for BBC Sports output for TV and Online, although other areas of the BBC may access the Service e.g. BBC Nations (i.e. BBC Scotland/BBC Wales/BBC N. Ireland) may do so in order to feed their local graphics output requirements for sport coverage.

The BBC is looking to purchase a single tenderer contract for the provision of processing sport data, querying data via an API and data storage from external third party suppliers. As the data is split across Online and TV, the BBC requires the tenderer to be able to provide and support two subset functions under the contract.
