Description

Barrow BC has been awarded Welcome Back Funds to be spent by 31 March 2022. Working with partners, Barrow BC has identified that temporary public realm improvements would support the return of people into the town centre and mitigate some of the significant impacts to the economy of Barrow that have been felt due to Covid 19.

The temporary public realm improvements that have been identified are as follows:

• Temporary parklets with covered seating, heating, and planting on Dalton Road as a pilot to increase footfall and movement
Barrow BC as part of its climate change pledge are looking for low carbon options for production and heating.
