Description
NHS England is required to ensure that the services it commissions meet the health needs of its responsible population and offers value for money.
Addressing health inequalities by raising health awareness is an integral part of this service. NHS England direct commissioning operations delivers a range of health services to prisoners in England.
Prisoners do not have access to the same treatments and health awareness campaigns compared to the wider community. In response to this the commissioning team are looking for a proactive provider who can deliver relevant communications and respond to changing health promotion priorities.
The local health and justice commissioning team are looking for a health promotion service via an email platform to target prisoners in the 12 prisons.
The service will need to:
• To coordinate advertising of health promotion messages on email communications sent to prisoners.
• To provides analytics on a monthly basis on coverage within the 12 prisons.
• Customise messages content to relevant prison in the region.
• Facility to change messages on a monthly basis to respond to changing health priorities.
• Proofread all adverts placed.
