Description
Provision of a Carers' Breaks service which will be divided into two (2) Lots: Lot 1 - Carers' Breaks & Lot 2 - Short notice emergency carer breaks. The contract will run initially for a period of five (5) years up to 31 March 2025, with the option to extend the contract by up to a maximum of five (5) further twelve (12) month periods. The Contract relates to services that fall under the "light touch" regime and the procurement exercise will therefore be run in accordance with the PCR 2015 as they apply to "light touch". The Council is following a process similar to the competitive procedure with negotiation under the PCR 2015.
