Description

UCL wishes to appoint a framework of experienced print suppliers across a diverse range of disciplines that are able to offer high quality digital web-2-print, lithographic and web offset print work at competitive prices.

The scope of work includes but is not limited to the print of brochures, prospectuses, storage, fulfilment, envelopes, business cards, letterheads, posters, leaflets, catalogues, magazines, banners, exam papers, degree certificates, academic transcripts, candidate number cards, large scale printing onto vinyl covered MDF (with split batons), variety of printing on different vinyl (eg: backed adhesive, or front adhesive vinyl, cut outs etc), exhibition displays and the provision of binding and finishing services.

The university is seeking to set up a multi-supplier framework agreement and use each supplier as and when their individual job quotation provides the best value for money to the University in terms of ability to meet the specification and timescale requirements of each piece of work.

This is a multiple stage process, beginning with SQ, followed by an ITT stage. The specification detailing UCL's full requirements for the services is set out in Schedule 3 to 5 of the ITT.

1.1.5 UCL is not a "contracting authority" or a "body governed by public law" as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. EU or UK public procurement law does not regulate this procurement process. Where UCL advertises contracts in the Official Journal of the European Union, it does so on a voluntary basis and does not undertake any obligation to comply with the procurement legislation. UCL reserves its rights in full to adapt or step outside the procedures in the procurement legislation, as UCL considers necessary.
