Description

The work comprises of the carrying out of pitched roofing improvements: new tiles or slates, battens and roofing membrane to houses and flats along with new UPVC fascia, soffits and replacement guttering and downpipes, and removal of asbestos where required, **(HHL will arrange removal of all licenced asbestos removal ) ** all aerials or satellite dishes must be repositioned if required to ensure continual signal and alterations and checks to gas flues as required, include all sundry items and appropriate scaffolding to occupied Herefordshire Housing and Leaseholder properties throughout Herefordshire. Contractors are to assume skips will be placed in front gardens or driveways of properties. Any additional scaffold requirements will be agreed as required - please see schedule of standard variations. All windows and cills must be cleaned following the works and site left tidy.
Should any tenderer wish to use any alternative products other than those listed in the specification and appendices this must be brought to the attention of the contract administrator during the tender process for confirmation that the alternative products are acceptable.
Technical literature and product performance date will be required for each item.
All works are to be undertaken in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, Marely site guides, ACOP's, current best practice, statutory regulations and standards. (see attached specifications provided by manufacturers and detailed repairs schedule for more detail)
