Description
Corserv on behalf of Cormac Solutions wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out rock drilling and blasting works for quarry operations, via a framework agreement.
CORMAC Solutions manages a quarry at Castle-an-Dinas, Ludgvan, Penzance, Cornwall. The Quarry's primary function is to supply aggregates and surfacing materials to CORMAC Solutions and commercial contractors mainly in western and central Cornwall.
The value of works within this framework is expected to be between £150,000 and £200,000 per annum. It is intended that the majority of works packages will be called-off from a Schedule of Rates with individual values not generally exceeding £15,000.
The intention is to appoint the most economically advantageous tenderer (sole Contractor) based on 70% Price and 30% Quality.
