Description
The Council is seeking additional resource in carrying out its duty to support Town and Parish Council's aspirations for neighbourhood planning.
The following service is being sought:
To attend meetings of Town or Parish Councils or Neighbourhood Plan Steering Groups/Working Groups (referred to as NP Groups) as required by the Council. (Currently there are 34 NP Groups, however, there may be more coming forward and time will need to be apportioned between them).
To advise those involved in producing neighbourhood plans of relevant processes, statutory regulations and current practice as required.
To advise on the type, method and publicity of public consultations appropriate to the stages in neighbourhood plan preparation.
Where requested by the NP Groups, to attend and/or facilitate public consultations
To maintain close liaison with the Council Officers throughout the process, including regular face to face meetings and communication by email.
The contract will last until April 2020, quotes should be in the range of £7,000 - £10,000.
Completed Quotations and attachments should be submitted electronically by the due date via our 'In-Tend' electronic tendering system. Quotations must be uploaded via the 'My Return' section of the system. Quotations submitted via the 'Correspondence' facility will not be considered. Your quotation must be submitted via the In-Tend system no later than 12:00 noon on 26/03/2018. Quotations after this time will be excluded.
Help and support - The Council will provide as much support and information as it can to help guide you through the Quotation process. Questions asked together with the response, will be made available to all firms quoting, to ensure a fair and consistent approach to all. If there is anything you are not sure of or need clarification of, then please contact us using the correspondence facility within the In-tend electronic tendering system. Deadline for questions closes 20/03/2018 - Questions and responses will be issued via the Clarification facility on the In-Tend portal.
