Description

The Authority is seeking quotes from organisations to provide specialist, therapeutic training, support, and supervision to social work staff to support them in interventions with young people.

The Service is to be provided within the Council's Early Help Hubs focusing specifically on children and young people who have adverse childhood experiences that are increasing the likelihood that they will become involved in criminality.

CBT training is required for Social Workers to assist their development in this area, they will be provided with support from qualified therapists who will offer further structured clinical practice guidance and clinical supervision.

The therapy will assist children and young people to make positive choices that lead them away from involvement in any type of criminality.

Please note:

Liverpool City Council has submitted a bid to the Home Office for funding, which if successful will enable the Liverpool Early Help team to provide High-Intensity CBT+ for children and young people with experiences of complex or developmental trauma resulting in emotional dysregulation.
The decision and outcome of the bid will be communicated to Liverpool City Council on 25th June 2021.
The successful bidder will be required to start providing the service on July 1st 2021 until contract end date 31st March 2022.
If the funding is not successful, Liverpool City Council reserves the right to terminate this project, and the planned evaluation and award stages will subsequently NOT take place.
