Description

The University of Birmingham wishes to enter into a contract for the service and maintenance
of an FEI TALOS F200 STEM and a HELIOS G4 CXe P-FIB that will ensure that the relevant
equipment is maintained and repaired to the highest quality standards. Accordingly the
Employer is seeking competitive Tenders from suitably qualified contractors in response to this
Invitation to Tender with a view to awarding a Contract to a single Contractor for the service
and maintenance of a range of small /medium size vapour compression chillers.
The Price for the provision of the Services shall be as set out in a specific Pricing Schedule in the
format set out in Schedule 1 and this Pricing Schedule will form part of the Contract between
the Parties.
The overriding purpose and objective of the Contract is that the successful Contractor will work
with the College to maintain the highest possible standards of reliability by operating an

effective service, maintenance inspection and repair service, with contractually binding
performance levels in order to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction
