Description

Shropshire Council is inviting tenders from nursing homes who are able to offer 7 "Recovery Beds": nursing care beds, 2 of which will be with dementia care, to flexibly support hospital admission avoidance and discharge from hospital. This requires a close proximity to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and hence the council is inviting tenders from nursing homes based nearby who are able to offer nursing beds with or without dementia care from 1st March 2019.
The contract for the beds will be for an initial term of 13 months, with provision for possible extension beyond this term, for periods up to 3 years.
The contracting authority is looking for a sole contractor to provide all beds.
