Description
The close protection service will complement the existing (separate) static guarding services currently being provided. This help to continue to deliver the safety and security of One HMG staff and others for whom the FCO accepts duty of care in Somalia (including Somaliland). The requirement is for a mobile close protection service providing armed protection officers for the British Embassy Mogadishu (BEM) and the British Office Hargeisa (BOH) to ensure business needs can be achieved in a safe and controlled environment for One HMG staff. The close protection officers will be expected to carry out other security related tasks as specified by the Overseas Security Manager. The contractor will be expected to provide a specific number of personnel across both sites on a 24/7 basis'.
