Description

As an independent regulator for doctors in the UK we work hard to ensure that patients have confidence in doctors. This means that we have various public facing services that must continue during a business disruption.
We take Business Continuity very seriously, and we have robust plans and procedures in place. All plans and procedures are reviewed annually, to ensure that we are in line with national guidance and any new or current threat. We currently align to the ISO 22301 standard; however, we are not looking to implement this standard.
The Compliance Team manage business continuity across the organisation and have a stable structure in place, with 49 Business Continuity Champions.
The successful provider will have a role in ensuring that the Compliance team are kept up to date with any change in best practice, along with working with the Compliance team to enhance current procedures.
