Description
This request is to provide English language support to the Qatari Bridging Course (QBC) at RAF Leeming for a maximum period of 20 days for each course from November 2023 until August 2027 at the latest.
UK-based Qatari Emirati Air Force (QEAF) flying training is conducted on 11 Sqn QEAF at RAF Leeming. QEAF trainee pilots will undertake a 2-month QBC at RAF Leeming ahead of the trainees commencing Hawk advance jet flying training. The aim of the QBC is to orientate the QEAF trainee pilots with the UK environment and Military Aviation procedures, specifically including UK aviation English with language tutors to assist.
The successful supplier will need to provide ground based English Language Tutor support for Qatari pilots whilst undertaking QBC at RAF Leeming, including (but not limited to) mentoring support in aviation technical language, including Briefing/Monitoring/Debrief, across VR activities, ground support to flying activities, QBC Ground School and Air Safety Training (RA 1440 HF/Error Management). The assessment for the English Language Ability output of this course will be conducted as a Formative Assessment.

It is the Authority's intention to select a maximum of 6 of the highest scoring suppliers who will be invited to tender providing they meet the overall score of a pass within the PQQ. If a supplier receives a fail to any question within the PQQ, they will automatically fail the evaluation and not be invited to participate further.
