Description

Provision of property services - Front Fa?ade, Grade 1 Museum Of Farnham

Waverley Borough Council is one of 11 Districts and Boroughs in the county of Surrey. The council has an annual turnover of ?60 million, employs over 470 staff and provides more than 110 services to a population of 121,000. Waverley Borough encompasses an area of 345km2, containing 730km of road and 52,750 properties.
The purpose of this tender is to deliver consultancy services which will ultimately result in essential building fabric repair and conservation work to Wilmer House - The Museum of Farnham - as detailed in a successful funding application to Arts Council England's Museum Estate and Development (MEND) Fund.

In accordance with Procurement Policy Note 11/20: Reserving below threshold procurements this procurement is restricted to:

- Small and Medium sized Enterprise (SME): Any business with fewer than 250 employees and either an annual turnover below ?45m or a total balance sheet less than ?40m (1.1(m))

OR

- Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs): Any organisation incorporated or not) working with a social purpose. This ranges from small community based groups / schemes, through to larger registered charities and social enterprises, public service mutuals and cooperatives that operate locally, regionally and nationally. This term is often interchangeable with the terms 'third sector' or 'civil society' organisations (1.1 (l))

AND

- Bidders must also be Surrey based organisations: Where the supplier is based or established in a particular location and has substantive business operations in that location. In this context, this means having a registered office, factory or other permanent base in that location from which meaningful business operations have been conducted for at least 12 months. (Confirmation that this requirement can be met is needed if the registered office address is outside of Surrey).
