Description

Defra requires PwC to assist the department drive forward progress with its EU Exit programme in a number of clearly defined areas associated with supporting the establishment of the programme.

1. Focused support to the 6 priority projects (i.e. Chemicals, Pesticides, Fisheries Catch Certificates, Control & Enforcement, TRACES, Export Health Certificates), which includes facilitating workshops to enable Defra to produce an appropriate quality PID, refined simplified Critical Path, MS Project plans; Programme Level RAIDS and workshop action tracker for each of the aforesaid 6 projects.

2. Create high level MS Project plans for each of 38 remaining projects based on the existing individual Simplified Critical Paths provided by the Defra Exit EU PMO. These plans will only show the key dates and activities and unless detail around dependencies are shown on the source documents. For the 10 light touch projects (see scope point 4), where we have embedded project support, we will build out the document set as far as we are able depending on the situation we find for each project. For example, if delivery plans exist and we can pull out detail we will, if thinking is still at the strategy/assess stage, we will at least capture a refined set of options with clear go/no go dates. Our ability to progress will also be a function of how long we are embedded.

3. Activities 1 and 2 above will provide inputs to a "Rolled up" plan for each Directorate (e.g. Fisheries) and an EU Exit Integrated Programme Plan in MS Project (and capable of export to P6).

4. Provide targeted support to accelerate progress in a number of agreed 'light touch' project areas as agreed with the EU Exit Programme SROs
