Description
Medway Council ('the Council') is seeking to procure the services of an experienced and suitably qualified Contractor to undertake replacement of the existing natural slate roof coverings and lead lined valley gutters to the two storey Victorian Building and isolated repairs to the roof to the main primary school building on the adjacent site. The Council is targeting to have awarded the contract during the month of June 2017 with a subsequent commencement date of July 2017. The estimated value of the works is approximately within the range £100,000 - £120,000 . The estimated Contract period will be for 2 Months. Variants bids shall be considered subject to a completion of the specified compliant tender. Scope of WORKS, Pricing & Specification The scope of works for this project includes but not limited to: the stripping back of slates and leadwork installation of sarking felt, new slates, leadwork, soffits fascias and guttering Isolated timber repairs For detailed information about the description of scope of works, specification and pricing please refer to Specification & Scope of Works document and Price List document respectively.
