Description

This contract is for English, Maths and ICT functional skills qualifications to be delivered to 16-19 year olds. This project is to be funded through the European Structural & Investment Funds (ESIF) .

The Council is looking to procure provision of Functional Skills Qualifications for DurhamWorks (DurhamDirections). The contract is to provide training and accreditation in the required functional skills with a view to progressing participants into employment, education or training. These programmes are for 16-24 NEET participants of County Durham.

The Maximum Budget for this opportunity is £276,900.
The unit rate per qualification is £1065.

This opportunity is to cover 4 geographical areas as detailed in the tender documents. Only 20% of the qualifications for each area should be for ICT functional skills (13 per geographical area)

DurhamWorks (DurhamDirections) is looking for one provider per geographical area who can deliver 65 functional skills qualifications (per geographical area) to 16-19 year old participants who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET)/unemployed. Bidders can bid for one or more geographical areas and are encouraged to do so.
