Description

This advert is to notify potential Providers that East Sussex County Council Public Health are working in collaboration with NHS England (NHSE) for an integrated specialist sexual health services, HIV treatment and care services and prison in reach sexual health services.
The bundled contracts consist of;
1. Specialist sexual health consisting of the following elements
o Level three Genito Urinary Medicine (GUM)
o Specialist Contraception
o Assertive Outreach service
o Psychosexual therapy
o Whole system leadership, support and training
o Managing out of area GUM and contraception charging

2. HIV treatment and care
3. Prison level three GUM in- reach

The above outlines a revised model for the delivery of the Sexual Health Services.

Full details of the requirements are provided within the service specifications in the tender documents.

The service will provide open access, cost-effective, high quality, evidence-based provision to meet the needs of local populations.
Level three sexual health services will be delivered in partnership with a separately commissioned online STI testing provider following an agreed protocol.

There are two clinics in Eastbourne and Hastings.

HIV Adult outpatient services and Paediatric shared care will be provided through the two clinics based in Eastbourne and Hastings.
Integrated level three Genito Urinary Medicine and HIV treatment and care services to the secure estate in East Sussex will be provided in Lewes prison.

The Commissioners will award separate contracts to the successful Provider for the provision of their respective service areas and payments will be made separately to the Provider by the NHS England and East Sussex County Council.

The tender will be an open process and Bidders should note the key dates contained within the documents, including the dates for scene setting and site visits.
