Description
York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have long recognised the importance of having strong Patient Level Cost Information (PLICS) to support efficiency programs, understand activity and identify savings across the Trust.
We aspire to be leaders in the use of this information and recognise the importance of having a strong foundation in place to deliver this vision.
We have recently been through internal change in this regard and our objective is to accelerate our position again in using this information and seek a partner who shares this vision and can support us on this journey.
York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust recently successfully used the IQVIA Costing System to produce the National Cost Collection (NCC) for 2021/22.
We now wish to build on this work and develop PLICS for internal use to support decision making, in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
Our goal is to become largely self-sufficient in the production of ongoing models and their use but wish to ensure these models help to inform decision making within the Trust.

Improvements based on Deep Dive outcomes
Automation / Simplification
Model build 2021/22 full year (Inc Income)
