Description

The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) requirement is for extending the capability of our frequency comb systems to have the flexibility to measure optical frequency sources whose linewidth is greater than the comb repetition rate.

The tunable laser system needs to have a wide tuning range and narrow spectral linewidth for greatest flexibility. There must also be the capability for external fine frequency or phase control with a high modulation bandwidth for tight optical phase locking of the tunable laser to our frequency comb system.

Requirement is for quantity of one.
