Description

The Saltash Landing Stage and Pontoons are located adjacent to Jubilee Green. The requirement is to detach the pontoons from piles and crane onshore. Carry out full refurbishment of tube sections including finger pontoons (three of which are already ashore) to extend working lifespan - clean, shot blast, weld repairs, frame and decking repairs, re-galvanise frames, apply marine coatings and fit cathodic protection in the form of sacrificial anodes. Crane pontoons, including finger pontoons, back into the water and refit to piles. This work is to be completed with the pontoon system fully operational by 31 March 2017.
