Description

NOTE: This notice was updated on 22 November 2022 for the following reason: Amended to make it clearer how to access further information about the opportunity.(The Royal Parks (TRP) is keen to investigate the possibility of attracting an experienced local catering operator to manage the White House Café in Greenwich Park under a concession contract. We are therefore undertaking a soft market testing exercise in relation to the Cafe. The soft market testing is for research only and is not a request for expressions of interest or an invitation to tender. The results of the soft market testing will be used to assess TRP's approach to letting the contract.

Interested catering operators should complete the questionnaire downloadable from the Delta e-tendering portal (which you can access by clicking the link on this Notice under Section 12). If you have any issues, please contract procurement@royalparks.org.uk)

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Please note that any subsequent procurement exercise following this soft market testing exercise would be a concession contract, with the final procurement procedure/process to be determined by TRP. The estimated value of the potential contract at Section 9 is based on a 5-year term, multiplied by the estimated turnover of the cafe in 2019/20.
