Description

Cornwall Council, working in partnership with Truro Town Council, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall, and other local partners; has successfully bid for just over 660,000 from the Safer Streets 4 (SS4) funding through the Home Office.
The SS4 programme in Cornwall seeks to address Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) incidents in Truro and to improve feelings of safety in public spaces, through a number of different interventions and initiatives across the city.
Partners have come together to form a steering group around the programme and are seeking support over the next six months (ending 31st Oct 2023) to support communications and media coverage concerning the activities, impact and legacy of the programme.
