These Acts require the Council to provide accommodation on a temporary basis for a minimum of 56 days to relieve or prevent homelessness or for a longer term while permanent accommodation is secured.
The DPS will last for two years, with the option to extend for a further two years in yearly increments. Call-off contracts awarded under the DPS may be in place for up to two years.
The DPS will be established on the following property types:
o Category 1: Studio/1Bedroomed
o Category 2: Two Bedroomed
o Category 3: Three Bedroomed
o Category 4: Four Bedroomed
o Category 5: Five Bedroomed
