Description

The London Borough of Hillingdon (Hillingdon) currently manages and maintains the domestic gas installations of approximately 9,000 tenanted Council properties and circa 83 communal / corporate locations.
As a prerequisite for this proposed contract, Applicants must have the capabilities, qualifications and resources to deliver these services in accordance with the Domestic and Non Domestic Gas Competencies. Applicants must also be qualified to service, repair and maintain Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), renewable, and combined heat and power and heat interface unit installations.
There is also a requirement for servicing and maintenance of Catering Equipment and Water Booster / Sewage pumps within the Communal / Corporate property portfolio.
The Council intends to award a contract for these services for a period of up to four years with an option to extend for up to a further 1 +1 years subject to agreement and satisfactory performance.

There are 3 Lots available for this contract.

Lot 1 - Domestic Housing Properties
Lot 2 - Communal / Corporate Properties
Lot 3 - Lot 1 & Lot 2 combined

A maximum of seven (7) Applicants will be shortlisted for each Lot (7 for Lot 1 and 7 Lot 2 only). The shortlisted Applicants will then be asked at the ITT stage to submit a response for the available Lots.

Only those Applicants who have been shortlisted for both Lot 1 and Lot 2 will be invited to submit a response for Lot 3 (Lot 1 & Lot 2 combined).

Lot 3 will only be awarded at the expense of awarding Lots 1 & 2 individually to separate Tenderers if it is the most economically advantageous option. The London Borough of Hillingdon retains the right to award some, all or none of the three Lots.
