Description
The Trust will be going out tender for this requirement shortly. We are interested in hearing from potential suppliers to understand how they supply similar sevvices for other Trusts.
The requirement is to provide virtual effective psychological therapies for IAPT clients, with a range of depression, stress, anxiety, anxiety disorders and PTSD.
To provide from a spectrum of:
1. Triage (telephone)
2. Step 2 (Low Intensity) guided self help (telephone or video)
3. Step 3 (High Intensity) CBT (Video). A small amount of high intensity counselling.
For step 2 and step 3, to provide assessment and treatment. Treatment outcomes must meet IAPT KPI standards and be equivalent to the rest of the service. The service must meet the minimum requirements below:
• To complete in full detail weekly session notes on IAPTus, with weekly outcome measures.
• To complete a SLAM brief risk assessment and Child Need and risk assessment at the first assessment. These items will be made available to the provider.
• To move service users through the IAPTus care pathway. This is to ensure that service users are moved through the IAPTus care pathway and all are discharged or handed over at the end of the contract.
• To manage all associated risk, including using crisis plans.
• To liaise with the IAPT service around queries, complaints and if significant risk.
• To provide correspondence, cc'd to service user, GP and referrer (if different).
• Correspondence to include first appointment letter, and a brief discharge letter. To do further letter and contact GP and service as appropriate if there is increased risk or risk incidents.
• To provide own internal supervision and line management.
• To take part in any SLAM complaints or Serious Incident Investigations as and when required.
