Description

Birmingham City Council, on behalf of Birmingham Community Safety Partnership (BCSP), wishes to support the development of a world class workforce to support victims of domestic abuse and their children in a safe, empowering and empathetic way. Therefore we invite tenders from training providers who strive for excellence in designing, delivering and evaluating innovative high quality evidenced based multi-agency training programmes.

The successful training provider will be required to design a training course and provide the BCSP Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHR) team with detailed schemes of work that includes learning outcomes based upon accumulative analysis that demonstrates a wide range of training methods that will be used to support the diversity of learning styles in line with the Equality Act 2010. The training specification must be approved by the DHR team and members of the BCSP Violence Against Women Steering Group. The training provider must comply with any suggested amendments to the learning outcomes and omit as required.

BCSP will provide the successful training provider with a copy of the accumulative analysis from Domestic Homicide Reviews. Once agreed, the contents will be delivered in a half-day session to approximately 25 delegates per session.

This contract will be for a period of one year commencing March 2019 until March 2020 with the option to extend for a further 12 months subject to budget availability and satisfactory performance
