Description

It is proposed that Unitas will be assuming the role of Principal Contractor on this project, and intend to appoint Subcontractors to carry out the works under our overall supervision. The works are separated out into three lots as follows;

LOT 1 Asbestos Removal

LOT 2 Scaffolding and External Works

LOT 3 Internal Works

Overall description of works to 17nr properties is as follows:
All 131-11 properties will require existing window, door and combination frames to be replaced with insulated SFS POD system, weatherboarding and replacement doors and windows. These will also require renewal of the existing main roof covering, renewal of loft insulation, replacement lead flashings, replacement of all rainwater goods and external building plastics. Dependant upon condition, some bathrooms and kitchens affected by the works may also require replacement.
All 130-10 properties will require existing window, door and combination frames to be replaced with insulated SFS POD system, weatherboarding and replacement doors and windows. These will also require renewal of the existing main roof covering, renewal of loft insulation, replacement lead flashings, replacement of all rainwater goods and external building plastics. Dependant upon condition. Some kitchens affected by the works may also require replacement.
Where necessary, properties will require renewal of extractor fans, security lights and smoke detectors. All to be completed together with the replacement of sundry items that will require removal and reinstallation to facilitate the installation.
